HNY 2018 & Hacknovation’s Plan for this Year !

A very very Happy New Year to everyone who’s reading. Considering how dead this blog is, it might be 5 or 10 people at maximum. These are people who follow this blog regularly via email newsletters or have kept it in bookmarks.

The blog is dead cause I literally left it untouched for more than one year. The result was a loss of traffic, engagement and much more. The damage done during this period was not-reversible and I do realize this fact. But this year, I’d be focused on growing this blog back up. Working on both the ends: generating traffic from search engines and forming an engaging community on this blog.

Currently, my vision is to grow this blog in a digital publication about WordPress, and anything related to Entrepreneurship. A blog where who’s passionate about WordPress, and entrepreneurship contributes or come to read no bs content.

It sounds much more simple than done. Starting, managing and growing a digital publication is hard. There are a lot of things to be done and to be completed on time, and I will be investing the best of my time into this project. I am working on other projects that will bring revenue faster than this project, and then invest that revenue into creating a team and growing this blog back.

The development or the growth of this blog might be slow at the start because I have a fixed number of hours every day to dedicate to this blog. But I’ll be working consistently on this blog.

Only last night I was checking the stats of this blog and I found that the blog has no organic traffic. All the keywords that I ranked for, are no more ranking due to inactivity and no backlink building on the posts. Not caring about this blog wasn’t something that I did on purpose, but I had no time to contribute to this blog.

This new year, I have changed things dramatically, figured out my schedule and how to get things done. Hopefully, it works out the way I expect it to be and by the end of this year, the blog grows to a place where it is receiving 50k visitors per month.

Despite this year being a complete downfall, I hope that 2017 was a great year for you and you achieved what you aimed for. And I hope that 2018 will bring even more success to you, and your blog.
